Hi! I'm Mithum

The Finance Expert

I am a PhD graduate from the Queensland University of Technology tutoring undergrads in Brisbane for over 5+ years. With over a decade of experience in tutoring high school and undergrad students from both native and non-native English speaking backgrounds, Tutor Charm is here to help you get the most out of your time in class with affordable, effective Tutoring..!

The founder of Tutor Charm and the triumph-card for academic success

Dear Stressed-Out Finance Student,

I get it!

University is hard. Really freakin' hard.

You're probably worried about your next assignment or exam.

Stressed and sleeping like a new parent with a midnight-crying newborn.

As you watch your GPA and caffeine intake fluctuate in terrifying ways.

And to top it all off, you're being pulled in a thousand different directions.

Ohmydawd..!! (with an accent)

- Should I spend my time studying? Join that group project? Pull another all-nighter?

- Should I try flashcards? Mind maps? Buy every highlighter in the store?

- What about those "study with me" videos on YouTube?

Everyone’s talking about the latest study hacks. But which ones actually work?

Should I just wing it?

Give up and watch that next episode on Netflix?

Somebody please pass the coffee.

Look, most students have a case of “study overwhelm syndrome."

Mixed with a dash of “I’ll just do it tomorrow, ” and a sprinkle of “maybe I don’t need that degree after all.”

So they end up doing a bit of cramming, a little bit of “study scroll, ” and a lot of panicking.

Soon, they’re staring blankly at the lecture notes they barely understand, thinking of all the things they “should be doing.”

We call this... Academic Limbo. Also known as stress overload.

It’s rough out there.

And we’d rather juggle three 8am classes than study without direction and support.

But this isn’t about us. It’s about YOU..!

You’re reading this because, in some way or form, school isn’t going as smoothly as you’d hoped. Or maybe you're doing well but want to do better.

Better grades. Better confidence. More peace of mind. More time for things you want to do. More time with your family. Be that cool kid in class that sails through modules smoothly..!

Whatever it is for you, it all starts by jumping on your phone and shooting a text to

Nothing but good things to say about Mithum. He presents himself professionally, brings a wealth of knowledge, and has a skill of delivering his expertise in a way anyone can understand. Throughout the semester there were many modules similar to those when studying a CPA or CFA, and here I am grateful for his vast background around these topics. He not only helped me, but inspired my interests in a career in this field. To people of all levels of education and qualification looking to further develop their own knowledge, or simply find a more practical method of teaching, I couldn’t recommend Mithum enough.

Excellent tutor- explain very well, very good patience, excellent knowledge about the subject, good value for the money. I passed my uni maths exam with excellent result.

@vbaranadurage

Mithum was a fantastic tutor who helped me get through my last remaining subjects in my final semester at uni. Mithum went above and beyond to answer any questions I needed clarifying even when he was busy completing his own PHD. Moreover, Mithum always checked in to see how I was going and reassured me if I was willing to put in the work I would see reward for that effort. I high recommend seeking Mithum's services in achieving your academic goals whether you're undergraduate or secondary secondary student.

Mithum is extremely understanding and patient, always taking the time to ensure I fully grasp the concepts we're working on. He explains things in a way that's easy to understand, making even complex topics seem simple. Beyond that, he's genuinely nice and approachable, which makes learning much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Mithum to anyone looking for a great tutor!

I am so grateful to have met Mithum... His unwavering support and expertise were instrumental in navigating my final university subject, Applied Business Analytics. His ability to simplify complex concepts made learning so much fun, while his dedication ensured no question went unanswered. The practical insights gained under his mentorship not only helped me through the subject but also left me with an even better understanding of data analytics that I can continue in my future career. I wholeheartedly recommend this tutor, not only for his knowledge, but for his kind heart that just wants to see all of his students succeed. Thank you, Mithum!

So far I have had a great experience with Mithum as my tutor. He has been very knowledgeable and created a comfortable environment for me to learn and ask questions. His teaching style is clear and concise, which has made it easy for me to understand the concepts and tasks. I highly recommend Mithum to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and effective tutor.

I am writing this review to provide a strong recommendation for Mithum as an excellent tutor in Engineering. Mithum is a very thorough and well-versed tutor in engineering, covering both the academic expectations of a student and the practical applications relevant to the real world. I found Mithum as a tutor when I was looking for a tutor for Engineering Mathematics during my first year. As a highly knowledgeable and attentive tutor, Mithum was able to help me understand any lecture and reading materials even in other modules in my engineering degree. In addition to his exceptional expertise in the engineering field, Mithum’s tutoring style was very pleasant, direct, and easy to understand. As a result, I now feel more confident in my studies, not only because I was able to achieve good marks in the course with his help, but also because I now have a clearer insight into how I would like to further my future career in engineering. This is my third semester with him and I look forward to working with him till my graduation.
